Does the tire sealant impact tire balance?
No, it does not throw off the balance. In fact, it improves balance and eliminates the need for tire balancing throughout the tire’s lifespan by continuously hydrodynamically balancing the tires.
Does the tire sealant affect the TPMS sensor?
No, Prevent Flats does not affect TPMS sensors. During installation on passenger vehicles, it passes right through the TPMS sensors without any impact. As of this writing, we have tens of thousands of vehicles on the road with our product installed, and we have had ZERO issues or problems with TPMS sensors. We are so confident that it will not affect the TPMS, we will put that guarantee in writing in your service contract.
Does the warranty cover wheel damage?
The warranty covers punctures up to ½” in diameter on all parts of the tire, including the tread, crown, and sidewalls, as well as blowouts. The warranty duration is customizable for up to 10 years.
Does the tire sealant dry out?
No, it does not dry out. Instead, it moisturizes the tire casing, which helps extend casing life and allows for more retreads per casing.
Does the tire sealant void the tire manufacturer’s warranty?
No, it does not void the tire manufacturer’s warranty. It has passed all industry-standard tests conducted by leading OEM rubber and tire testing labs.
